Measurements can be read directly on the graduated scale. The distance between the edge of the panel and the centerpoint of a bore is obtained by adding 20mm to the value on the scale. With the left pin it is possible to measure the distance between the panel edge and the centerpoint of any bore on the surface of the panel.
