The M. Conti company was founded in 1973 as a manufacturer of metered rods and precision callipers. Over the years, the company has kept abreast of technological progress and has specialised in the construction of measurement instruments, a sector in which it has gained significant experience, selling products under its brand name the world over.

Already at the beginning of the 1980s, it became necessary to support traditional measurement instruments with the production of a 3 axis electronic control bench, an important innovation in the field of measuring relative to the panel industry.

In the 1990s the company began to produce the "DIGIT" digital calliper which makes it possible to take any type of measurement on a panel with maximum precision.

In the mid 1990s "PRESET" was created, a new tool production line. Currently three types of PRESET are produced to cover the various market areas. PRESET for tools has lead the company to develop a new, important commercial network in the mechanical sector.

In 1999 a special research, development and industrialisation division was created for the production of new instruments, thus anticipating market requests.

In the course of 2002 M. Conti will increase its gamma of products and production activity will be transferred to the new company facility which will include a new metrology room to guarantee the quality and precision which characterise our instruments.
